About Pure Mythology

Some things are worth doing by hand.

Pure Mythology was born from a simple belief: that what you put on your skin should be honest, intentional, and made with care. Each lip balm is crafted in small batches using rendered lard from our own Kune Kune pigs — a centuries-old ingredient prized for its remarkable similarity to human skin's natural oils.

We don't do mass production. Every batch is mixed, poured, and inspected by hand. That means no shortcuts, no mystery ingredients, and no two batches quite identical. Just pure, simple formulations that let the quality of the ingredients speak for themselves.

Why mythology?

The gods of Olympus were anything but ordinary — powerful, bold, and one of a kind. We like to think our lip balms fit right in. Small batch, handcrafted, and made with ingredients you won't find in anything off a drugstore shelf. Good enough for the gods? We think so.

What goes in (and what doesn't)

Our lip balms are built on a short, clean ingredient list. Kune Kune lard. Organic Cocoa Butter. Beeswax. A touch of Vitamin E. Thoughtfully chosen flavor oils. That's it. No fillers, no synthetics, nothing you can't pronounce.
